Conservation of resources is at the heart of what we do

Founded in 1973, the main operation field of Gaugl Metalle has ever since been collecting, sorting and processing of non-ferrous metals and iron scrap.

Our operations and business activities make an invaluable contribution to our society by saving and conserving resources. This is something we truly care about. By recycling we save and recover valuable resources. In all our business activities, saving and protecting our environment while also ensuring and protecting human rights is of utmost importance to us.

Our family-operated company Gaugl Metallhandel GmbH invests in new company premises, machinery and plants. This is necessary to account for increasing material volumes without compromising quality, so that we can fulfil our recycling ambitions in the future.

We are constructing an additional storage hall for quality assurance and a modern employee building with a separate training room. The building will be constructed in passive house standard. Machinery for processing materials (iron scrap, non-ferrous metals), such as shredders, presses and maceratorss are installed. To meet logistical requirements as well, we purchase excavators and forklifts that comply with the latest exhaust emission standards or run on batteries/electricity.

Our investment in expanding our business operations creates and guarantees workplaces and is an economy stimulus for the entire region. Furthermore, we are installing additional PV systems to save carbon emissions and use the generated electricity in our operations.
